Ecopool, a Central Texas based company, has created a swimming pool manufacturing system compatible with scalable automobile-style factory mass production. Protected by 7+ patent filings and growing, each pool is obsessively designed to the high standards and built to last for generations.

We started by developing a swimming pool from a clean sheet of paper. Ecopool is a new shipping container based swimming pool with patent-pending modules that connect to form custom pools, from small to large. This new way of thinking will soon disrupt the massive and outdated billion dollar pool construction market.

We are a small team today but this will soon change. We currently have 3 sites and will be adding a 4th. We are planning to open a new substation in Brenham, Texas in 1-2 weeks. We also have two manufacturing sites in Georgetown, Texas and we are in process on a new 60 acre site in Salado Texas. Here we are building the nation’s largest swimming pool factory.

Summary of Position

We are seeking a Welding Operations Manager to lead a team in welding, cutting and fab operations. By this point in your career, you have demonstrated success in welding and fabrication operations at a high level.

You have demonstrated many years of success in welding (Mig), cutting and manufacturing operations and leading the same. This role will be responsible for leading efficient fabrication practices. Most importantly, the candidate will be accountable for delivering quality product releases on schedule.

The ideal candidate is very hands on, and comfortable spending long hours on the manufacturing floor. Expect up to 95% of time to be spent in production.

Duties and Responsibilities

Drive the manufacture and completion of Orders on time

Takes ownership in Quality Control

Identify team bandwidth gaps and fill those positions with skilled individuals

Guide products to market delivery on a tight schedule

Build a passionate welding and fab team with a positive results oriented culture

Candidate Prerequisites

Strong knowledge of cutting and welding technologies

You are comfortable holding staff accountable for output and quality

Your are comfortable driving production volume

Basic qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience welding, preferable at least 3 years of mig.

Strong mechanical and technical knowledge.

Takes pride in work.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
