PHP Developer, Software Trainer and Client Advisor
Maintain and enhance software-as-a-service platform for scientific conferences written in PHP8 running on AWS. The platform is used by several hundred thousand researchers across the world. Improve user experience. Opportunity to define features, implementation and tooling.
Provide custom advice to conferences and journals on using the platform.
Support tier-1 customer support staff training of new clients. No call center duty.
Hours are flexible, but must be available during US business hours for scheduled conference calls. Group health plan available.
- Has worked with medium to large PHP code bases, with emphasis on creating long-term maintainable code and ensure platform stability and security.
- Experience with SQL and AWS required.
- Must be located in the United States.
- Must have reliable high-speed Internet access.
- Requires excellent communication skills, diligence and ability to diagnose problems.
- Tier-1 technical support, retail, hospitality, real estate or health care customer service background is insufficient to qualify applicant.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
