Edelman is looking for an up and coming copywriter with a passion for social media to join our squad and create content and campaigns for one of the world’s greatest tech brands. Someone with their finger on the pulse of internet culture who wants to make stuff that stops people in their feed and makes them want to share it. You see the trends before they’re trends and know how to quickly conceptualize, create and put things out into the world. You know how to tweak a brand’s voice and tone to fit any social platform or moment. We need someone who, with an art director partner, can come to work every day fueled to discover new ways to communicate with consumers through tweets, stories, posts, and videos. You’ll be joining a diverse group of creatives that shift culture through work like Good Humor x RZA’s new take on the ice cream jingle, eBay’s Drive-Thru Authentication Station, and the KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog. If you’re looking to create ideas that end up in the NY Times, The Verge, and Reddit, or winning some the industry biggest awards like the Webby’s and One Show, we do that on a regular basis.Responsiblities:You know how to identify social trends and craft on brand content; community management is part of your day to dayYou have demonstrated writing across social platforms; in the moment, in culture!Quick turn requests are your sweet spot; you build a repository of content to create relevant engagement that day, that week!High-level concepting, tactical program ideation and copywriting for a wide range of brand experiences, social content and marketing deliverables that generate conversation and brand engagementOwn the brand story for our clients across all channels, maintaining a consistent voice and visionCreate branded social content that is insightful, culturally relevant and inherently sharableSuccessfully communicate (present and sell-in) creative ideas and the strategic rationale behind themCollaborate with agency team members from creative, account, production, PR, strategy, planning and analytics to produce smart, powerful workWhat you bring:3-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising or social mediaA portfolio that includes digital and social media campaigns for big brandsCommunity management experience; social content creatorExcellent short-form and social copy writing skills with a mastery of of voices and tonesSolid grammar, editing and proofreading capabilitiesWillingness to push your craft, get your hands dirty and make great thingsSocial fluency and a solid understanding of how to drive conversation and engagement across social channelsA natural flare for the unique, the buzz-worthy and the culturally relevantAbility to think strategically and conceptualize creativelyStrong presentation and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentInterest in mobile tech, photography and memes a great nice to have#LI-CLKAt Revere, we discover stories and craft them into integrated campaigns.
