The Human Resources Manager will report to the Director of Human Resources. They will partner as a liaison to leadership as well as help provide effective and efficient HR while maintaining business support to employees and managers to enable them to successfully achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience of hands-on Human Resources in an administrative, coordinator, or related support role.
SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification highly preferred.
Must have strong HR background and experience to draw on for benchmarks and creative problem resolution.
Possess thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Must be responsive in managing issues that require timely management/oversight and ability to bring things to closure.
Driven self-starter, quick learner, intellectually curious, able to think and work independently, adaptable, own key initiatives, sense of urgency, integrate easily into collaborative teamwork, and willing to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility.
Strong project management (launch to execution) skills with an ability to multitask, manage, and prioritize multiple and competing projects at once.
Exceptional organization and planning skills, and acute attention to detail.
Team player with a “can-do” commitment, where no task is too small to deserve your full effort and enthusiasm.
Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, high social and emotional intelligence, commitment to develop and earn trust of others, as well as an ability to give and receive open, constructive feedback in a way that cultivates trust and respect.
Strong computer and technical skills (Microsoft Office), working knowledge of core HR practices and principles, HRIS experience (preferably Workday).
Responsibilities:
Provide HR expertise on organizational development, daily transactions, employee relations, compensation, retention, compliance, performance review and management processes, wage and hour issues, orientation, benefits, and training
Work closely with department leadership and other members of Corporate HR to ensure consistent implementation of policies, programs, processes, and initiatives
Compile reports and uses various HR data to inform decisions. Communicate data to appropriate managers. Uses HRIS, ATS and other systems, as needed
Experience researching and applying federal and state employment laws, training and HR systems
Work closely with the organization’s leadership team in coordinating the performance review process for team members, including providing tools and information to managers conducting the review
Other HR duties as needed
