If you are a manufacturing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in ourBoulder Colorado location, you will be responsible for materials assembling to assist with meeting production goals and quality control. You will moveproducts and fillin production lines as needed. You will work under direct supervision and followstandard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. You will also receivegeneral instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
This position is with Emerson RDPF.
AS AN ASSEMBLER I, YOU WILL:
- Putting together mechanical components of a product using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Applies skills and knowledge to perform one or more assembly task. Has a thorough understanding of the total process flow.
- Independently identifies work to be done. Proactively flexes into other areas to maximize overall product flow and efficiency.
- Ensures product and process quality is maintained through visual inspection and testing as required. Assures that all details of a task are accomplished properly. Takes initiative to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Thoroughly documents all product BOM ensuring proper quality documentation as applicable to a given process. Enters data and performs computer transactions as appropriate.
- Actively participates in Continuous Improvement Process, Lean Manufacturing, 5s + 1, efforts to help improve quality, shorten cycle times, and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Performs preventative maintenance on, and ensures calibration of, equipment, tools, and fixtures, as required.
- Takes initiative to rotate to the work that needs to be done, inter and/or intra departmentally as appropriate.
- Keeps work areas clean and organized, in accordance with 5s+1 principles.
- Knows and follows safety procedures as required in a specific operation. Identifies safety concerns and takes appropriate action.
- Willingly shares skills and knowledge. Effectively gives and receives feedback. Sets good example for others, is a good role model.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Works collaboratively with all members of the team, both inter and intra departmentally.
- Sets a good example by maintaining good safety, attendance, and performance records. Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates ability to develop appropriate qualifications as needed.
- Can read, interpret, and follow written, visual, and verbal work instructions.
- Understands and can apply knowledge of total process flow.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- High School or GED is required
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Oracle experience a plus
- Attention to detail
- Legal authorization to work in the US
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Previous manufacturing production experiences is a plus
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the payrange for this role is $14.86- $21.83per hour, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to this role.
