General Description & Requirements
As an HR Associate, you will support Empowered Hospitality clients through behind-the-scenes execution of administrative tasks, including onboarding and offboarding, recruiting, benefit administration, auditing documents, claims handling, and our Discovery and client onboarding processes.

Role Responsibilities
– HR administration, including:
o Posting job ads, screening candidates and coordinating interviews
o Onboarding and off-boarding
o Employee document filing and organization
o Compliance audits
o Crafting job descriptions, employee handbooks, and other core HR documents
o Benefits administration
o Payroll processing
o HRIS management
– Prepare training materials, presentations and other client deliverables
– Support reporting and analysis utilizing various HRIS systems, MS Excel/Google Sheets and other tools
– Conduct research and prepare comparative analyses of benefit programs, HRIS software, ATS, etc.
– Take detailed notes during client meetings
– Support general organization of E|H document storage, systems and tools
– Perform other tasks as directed by E|H Principal, Directors or Consultants
– Continually pursue education regarding new concepts, regulations and HR leading practices
Experience & Education
– 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources or Business Administration
– Demonstrated success managing a high volume of time-sensitive administrative tasks
– Familiarity with hospitality work environment
– Strong MS office skills, business communication, and problem-solving skills
– Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in written and spoken Spanish preferred
– Bachelor’s in human resources, business administration, or related field
– SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PMP, or other related certification preferred
