Responsibilities
Encompass Health – Home Health & Hospice is seeking an Operations Consultant to join our team! As an Operations Consultant you will provide important assistance to assigned regional branches and you must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
In this position, responsibilities include:
- Assisting the branch supervisors and staff with operational processes, personnel management, adherence to company compliance plan, and customer service.
- Performing routine operational and human resources audits.
- Assessing state survey readiness of assigned agencies.
- Providing education / training related to established procedures and software issues to agency staff.
- During integration of newly acquired agencies, performing onsite education and training related to HCHB software and company processes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will reside near a major airport for easy travel.
Education and Experience:
- Must have a bachelor degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
- Must have demonstrated experience in office operations including payroll, data entry, billing, and human resources.
- Must have demonstrated intermediate skills in computer technology.
- Previous experience with back office operations in the home health or hospice industry is preferred.
- Advanced skills in computer technologies and softwares is preferred.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must be self-motivated and possess a high standard of professional ethics.
Requirements: Must possess a valid state driver license. Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
