Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Human Resources Manager is responsible to lead and support efforts at the Hatfield, PA location regarding talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration and execution of special programs. All tasks should be in alignment with the company’s strategy and be designed to achieve maximum effectiveness and success.

This role will focus on partnering with local leaders on talent management, performance management, talent acquisition, policy development and enforcement, benefits & compensation, training, community support activities, conducting internal investigations, counseling and problem solving employee issues, legal compliance with all state and federal employment laws, and overall adherence to policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs, plans and implements human resource programs, policies, and procedures for the Hatfield site in partnership with Dental Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Total Rewards COEs
• Serve as a partner to the site leader and local management team and provide daily client group support
• Lead processes to recruit, promote and retain talent within salaried and hourly workforce
  • Partner with Dental Talent Acquisition COE for recruitment, interview and selection of exempt candidates and manages the onboarding process
  • Manage job posting, recruitment, interviewing, selection, dispositioning, hiring and onboarding processes for all non-exempt, co-op, intern and temporary positions
  • Generates offer letters and collects and verifies required paperwork for onboarding
• Talent Management
  • Lead talent management processes including the Performance Appraisal process and the non-exempt performance appraisal/merit planning process
  • Training & Development
    • Manage local training and development logistics and teach HR content
    • Support local leaders to career development and Development
  • Lead annual Engagement Survey process and action planning for site
• Engagement
  • Organizes diversity and inclusion (D&I), employee involvement and community involvement activities
  • Manages local recognition programs including annual service awards, spot awards and organizes other employee events
• Employee relations
  • Conducts investigations, and provides support to managers for counseling and resolution
  • Serve as HR first point of contact for employee questions and issues, such as leave of absence, benefits and other general inquires
• Compensation and Benefits:
  • Support annual open enrollment and administration of employee benefit plans
  • Wage and salary administration
• Compliance
  • Monitors and maintains affirmative action plan, hiring practices and policies
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment-related laws and records retention guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

The Sr. Human Resources Manager will be a subject matter expert on HR principles and be able support/partner multiple client groups in employee relations, recruitment, employee development & training, benefits administration, etc. This role requires experience in Human Resources planning, talent development, and assigned internal client group support. A successful candidate will have a passion for growth in the Human Resources field.

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Labor Relations, Human Resources or a related field with strong academic performance
• Demonstrated implementation and advanced knowledge of federal and state regulations, including COBRA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, OSHA and Workers’ Compensation
• 7+ years of experience in progressive HR responsibility including site responsibility and HR Business partnership across various functions and executives
• 2+ years of HR people leadership
• Minimum of 1 year HR experience in Manufacturing/Distribution environment required

Preferred qualifications

• Demonstrated implementation and advanced knowledge of federal and state regulations, including COBRA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, OSHA and Workers’ Compensation
• Understanding of benefit plans, including 401k plans, to include legal compliance and reporting requirements
• Experience in regulated industry required
• Experience working in an environment focused on continuous improvement

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
• Work is conducted in a standard office environment
• Ability to travel (domestic and international may be needed a couple times per year)
