Job Summary
The Engineer II, Fiber Network Engineering is responsible for design, configuration, and troubleshooting of core, access, and network security services within the network. This role must provide complex, high-level technical support for ISP and network management applications; and carry out novel and/or complex assignments requiring the development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures.

Expect a fast-paced work environment, as well as the need to meet deadlines on a regular basis. Emergency outages will necessitate the use of after-hours and weekend personnel. In addition, occasional maintenance activities and participation in a one-out-of-six-week on-call rotation will be required. It will be necessary to sit, type, communicate, walk, and work within an office environment.
