Job Description
The Account Specialist’s main responsibilities include:
Location : this role is approved for hybrid work, we work in the Atlanta office 3 days per week.
- Support Client Executive and Broker with providing day-to-day client service
- Produce/assist with client submissions, proposals, presentations, insurance summaries and loss run reports
- Process and track mid-term endorsement requests
- Contract review of insurance requirements
- Issue auto ID cards
- Claims filing and administration
- Assist with program analysis for potential clients
- Update Agency system (Sagitta) with policy and billing information
- Coordinate and review billing, invoice documentation, and premium finance agreements
- Assist with surplus lines documentation needed for filings
- Support Client Executive and Broker with certain insurance placements and quote reviews
- Assist with policy workflow process to make sure policies are reviewed and sent out to clients according to agency standards
To succeed, the Account Specialist will need to be a highly motivated individual willing to work hard with good time management and critical thinking skills as well as excellent written and oral communication capabilities.
Requirements:
- Three or more years of insurance experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferable in an insurance-related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Knowledge of agency management system; Sagitta preferable
- Commercial property and casualty experience is pr
- Licensed property/casualty insurance agent/broker license is a plus
