Description of Responsibilities:
Support Java and JEE enterprise application development, including programming, analysis, architecture, solution design and clustering
Responsible for software estimation, planning, high-level and detailed system design, application security, migration, reverse engineering, requirements gathering, development, implementation, monitoring, support, client interaction, leading the team and on site-offshore coordination.
Design, develop and maintain Java programs in Tomcat containers.
Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or for performance improvement.
Participate in solution design, development, integration, coding, code review, peer review, unit testing, system testing, support, Quality, performance analysis and tuning, analyzing business problems
Recommended solutions that can be quickly developed and delivered, end to end delivery of applications and maintenance of applications using various software tools and utilities
Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other IT professionals to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Assemble and mobilize project teams, confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other IT professionals, and build consensus among multidisciplinary technical and functional teams to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Utilize N-tier, distributed application architecture, auditing, profiling, third party Web service transactions, rollback, and security vulnerability assessment solutions.
Determine system performance standards and coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Utilize experience with Kanban and Agile methodologies
Configure SSL for transport level security, implement AAA policies for a secure code, write Microservices, build automation pipeline, validate test results & configure logging.
Qualifications
Skills required to ensure success include:
Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.
Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
Documentation Architecture and Design: Knowledge of documentation architecture and design; ability to build efficient processes, use appropriate tools and technique , and create complete documentation portfolios for software or technology products.
Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.

Technical Skills Required
5+ years of experience with the following technologies:
Strong development skills with Java v1.8.x or higher
Weblogic
Websphere Application Server
Apache Tomcat, HTTP server, Ansible
Spring framework
Red Hat Linux
XML, SOAP, JSON, REST
HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS
SAML, OAuth, OpenID
SQL
Kubernetes, preferably AKS
Additional Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS environment or another cloud equivalent.
Ability to effectively work with team members across multiple locations and time zones
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to grasp new concepts and technologies
Natural curiosity and strong desire for continued learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Utilize Microsoft Azure, Angular for front end, JQuery
Reduce cost and reduce downtime by adopting Microservice development
Automate using DevOps, CI/CD, Test Automation, Configuration Management
Identify opportunities to innovate and optimize relative to IAM integration
Support code deployments and configuration changes to production and non-production following established procedures, including using SCM repositories, enhanced configuration mgmt & deployment of the code and configuration via Scripting languages
Implement CI/CD related features
Provide support for compliance with security and audit requirements as needed
Experience with Kanban, Agile methodologies.
