THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Senior Logistics Team Member for our ER2 Phoenix location.
This is a Full-Time position, M-F 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with additional hours as business needs require.

The official job title will be “Senior Logistics Team Member,” but this is a hybrid position, encompassing many different responsibilities, such as: driving / loading & unloading / warehouse work / processing electronics / providing client support, etc.

The perfect fit will be someone adaptable, who loves being a team player, and who is also safe, courteous, and excellent with customers.

Whenever you’re not on the truck, you’ll jump in to help our team with processing the product we get in from our clients.

Sometimes you’ll stay local, but other times, pick-ups may take you a couple hours away, or a couple states away!
We also may ask you to travel between ER2 locations for additional support as business needs fluctuate by location.

So this person must be willing to travel as needed, by truck or by plane! (You of course will be given as much notice as possible before each trip.)

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Follow planned daily route based on pick-ups assigned
• Provide excellent customer service when picking up from clients
• Safely and securely load, transport, and unload goods
• Keep up with daily communication with clients, and team members via phone and email
• Perform vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate records
• Assist with new client location profile completion, i.e. completing first-time-pickup surveys
• Complete day-before-pickup confirmation calls to clients
• Assist Logistics Team Members in keeping client records up to date in our customer portal i.e. site notes
• Quality check / assist Logistics Team Members in the coordination of sending supplies/resources to out of state client sites for pickup preparation
• Responsible for the tracking of logistics tools and supplies
• Maintain CBPs (Current Best Processes) records and assist with training as needed
• Complete confirmation calls to vendors 2 days prior to a team member utilizing a rental truck
• Prioritize (and reprioritize) incoming tasks in combination with client and business needs
• Utilize multiple sources to research and assess resale value of electronic products received
• Sort non valuable products into appropriate containers
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, power lifts, or front-end loaders to load bales, bundles, or other heavy items
• Clean and maintain company vehicles, as well as supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide assistance or direction to other departments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• The ability to lift, push, pull, maneuver or carry heavy objects as needed, 70-100 lbs.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for consecutive hours.

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Drivers License.
• Legally Authorized to work in the United States.
• The ability to speak/read English fluently.
• Minimum 25-50% of overnight travel. (Travel as required for business needs.)
• Experience driving larger vehicles (will be driving a 26-foot box truck)
• The ability to pass a drug screen. This position is responsible for some safety-sensitive duties (operating company vehicles/heavy machinery) and therefore requires a commitment from the team member to be completely drug free – please keep this in mind before submitting your application.
• Clean criminal record required.
• COVID-19 Vaccination Status Required: Fully Vaccinated.
