Summary of Position:
The HR and Payroll Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of human resources, payroll processes, employee benefits administration, and the accuracy and maintenance of employee records. The HR Administrator works within the HR department and cross-functionally to provide employee-focused, effective HR service to the organization for the achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides general administrative support such as correspondence, forms, and reports, processes confidential reports and documents (electronic and hard copy files), and tracks deadlines.
Accurate and timely completion of bi-weekly payroll and reporting for our 100+, growing multi-state organization for hourly and salaried employees (currently Paylocity).
Prepares documentation for new hires, or changes in pay, status, or benefits.
Establishes, maintains and controls employee records, recruitment records, files, correspondence, reports, and organization charts.
Manages sensitive and confidential matters including employee relations, and organization changes, and protects the security of information, data, and files.
Maintains leave management and benefits administration, within the specified guidelines.
Conducts research, gathers data and statistical reports, and maintains statistical information.
Administers and meets deadlines around new hire information, including profile, payroll, and all HRIS systems.
Maintains employee files by handling changes in employee status in a timely manner.
Ensures effective receipt of and/or proper approvals on forms and enters changes in the HRIS system.
Coordinate with IT for new employee tools and effectiveness.
Other duties as requested.
Education and Experience:
Certified Payroll Professional and or HRCI/SHRM certification preferred.
3 or more years of general administrative experience, including 3 years of payroll administration experience required.
High school diploma and degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
Good problem-solving skills.
Competent keyboard skills to produce accurate and professional reports.
Able to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Proficient with payroll processing and reporting
Ability to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines and targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
