Power Utility Coordinator – Wireless Telecom (Irvine, CA)
FIELD POSITION not an administrative coordinator position
Eukon Group (https://eukongroup.com) is a growing, mid-size company that specializes in all scopes of wireless telecommunication development. Our specialty is in Wireless Cell Sites. We design and incorporate Cell sites into the built environment, on every type of real property, in all parts of Southern California and Hawaii.
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Utilities Coordinator for our Wireless Telecommunication projects with power experience. This is a field position (not an administrative coordinator position). Previous Field Experience REQUIRED. Candidate will oversee relocation of existing utilities in conflict with wireless telecommunication related modifications. Candidate must be organized, pro-active, a problem solver, and have strong interpersonal skills.
Background screening and COVID test are required to be completed prior to commencing in-office training at our Irvine office location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Experience with power coordination with utility companies like SCE, LADWP, PG&E, SDG&E,
PWP, GWP, BWP, etc.
· Review and understand power company drawings and identify utility conflicts
· Understands electrical systems in commercial/industrial buildings
· Understand all aspects of utility coordination
· Determine power source for new wireless telecommunication sites
· Determine power upgrade requirements for existing sites
· Experience with fiber coordination with fiber vendors like AT&T, Frontier, Time Warner, Cox, and Crown Castle.
· Perform field visits and field investigations, some same day travel involved (as required)
· Maintain project status and reports
· Conduct prior rights evaluation and coordinate utility conflict resolution between Utility Owner
and design engineer

Training will be in the Irvine office. Position will be remote following the successful completion on the in-office training. Must reside locally and attend site visits/walks.
