The Account Manager I receives sufficient authority from, and is accountable to the Customer Service Manager or appointed designate, for the successful completion of assigned duties and responsibilities and has the authority to take action necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position.
The Account Manager I has authority to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system or from the procedures for carrying out sample registration and reporting, so long as such action does not deviate from established company guidelines, is consistent with sound business or technical judgment, and follows the practices of the laboratory.
Overall Objectives and Responsibilities
Responsible for all routine communications between the customer and the laboratory from initial customer account processing to invoicing for services rendered. :
Processing of customer administrative information necessary for business operations. Managing communications for unassigned or smaller clients.
Clarification of client’s requests for services and, if necessary, referring such requests to the manager of laboratory operations. 3.2.4) Maintaining accounts of assigned client group.
Managing quotes and coordinate with BDDs as needed.
Assisting with collections for delinquent accounts. 3.2.7) Setting up new accounts in eLIMs.
Reassigning appropriate requests in Freshdesk to Account Coordinators or Account Administrators, but still maintaining visibility over request to ensure completion.
Answering the phone.
Promoting team environment and assisting other team members, as needed.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and attention to detail. Responsive problem solver and action oriented.
Education/ Experience Background The Account Manager I shall have at least a high school diploma and computer experience with Microsoft Office. The Account Manager I shall have at least 1 year of customer service experience
