EVO Transportation & Energy Services Hiring for HR Generalist at Oak Creek, WI Full Time

Position

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Generalist will be responsible for completing day to day HR functions. This includes but is not limited to unemployment, disciplinary action, accommodation, PTO monitoring, income withholding orders, incoming previous employment verifications, personnel file spot checks, turnover monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities

· The HR Generalist will assist the Vice President of HR and HR Manager for special projects when needed.

· HR Generalist is the point of contact from state employment agencies for unemployment claims. Generalist will process unemployment claims and appear for hearings.

· The HR Generalist will be actively involved in disciplinary action and conflict resolution.

· The HR Generalist is responsible to monitor accommodation requests, make determinations, and execute solutions.

· PTO monitoring and tracking will be a responsibility of the HR Generalist.

· The HR Generalist will work in coordination with the Payroll department on state income withholding orders.

· The HR Generalist will assist in verifications of employment for previous employees.

· New hire onboarding for office staff will be a function of the HR Generalist.

· Spot checks of personnel files.

· Turnover tracking and monitoring.

· Other duties as-needed.

Experience

· High school diploma required, Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.

· PHR or SHRM-CP professional certifications preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR.

· Experience in transportation preferred.
