Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking qualified candidates for a full time, contract-to-hire Senior Logistics Assistant position in the Seattle metro area. We work with top small and large employers in the Seattle metro area. Apply now for immediate consideration.


Main Job Duties:

  • Enter FOB/POE orders in system
  • Ensure that all customer guidelines/routing instruction are followed
  • Order FOB/POE price tickets/carton label as needed
  • Track FOB/POE shipments to ensure on time delivery
  • Review/verify factory payment information, shipping documents, and invoices
  • Serve as a liaison between Asian vendors and external logistics providers (ocean carriers and custom broker), arranging freight, communicating logistics protocols, and providing routing instructions to logistics partners and vendors in Asia to make sure shipments arrive on time
  • Update booking forecast weekly
  • Coordinate the transport of inbound movements both domestically and internationally using pre- assigned logistics providers


Pay: $27-28/hr.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of ocean freight experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
