Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch meals following established recipes and portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, serving areas, and equipment.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stocking supplies.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, slicers, and dishwashers.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Assist with menu planning and contribute to creating a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Work hours typically align with school hours, with some variation for special events.
Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, as well as kitchen equipment and utensils.
