FSO Tax Technology and Transformation offers services to companies in response to the impact of existing and emerging technology, including the growing data burden that many businesses face, driving efficiencies to create a cost-effective tax function and the need to understand how to make data an asset. The underlying objective of the combined offerings is to help businesses navigate the digital age of tax transparency alongside new trends in tax compliance and tax audit methods, as well as helping to solve the most pressing challenges that businesses face. Our FSO Tax and EY EDGE practice is made up of a team of professionals providing dedicated tax technical services to both US and global clients. Our FSO Tax Technology and Transformation practice will give you the opportunity to further develop your skills while assisting our financial services clients in dealing with the operational challenges that their world class tax functions are facing today. You will be working with clients to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of their tax functions and assist them to better connect with executive management.
This is an area that has seen plenty of recent growth and investment – and you will see that reflected in your career. The field of taxation is constantly changing as new laws, regulations and technologies are created, and this is your opportunity to be part of that development.
Your Key Responsibilities
Depending on the needs of the project and the clients supported some examples of key responsibilities would include identifying ways to improve operational effectiveness, reviewing process and controls that are in place, assessing the overall risk to establish a proper control environment, designing and building standard, efficient and effective processes. Other responsibilities could include assisting client engagement team members in learning the process and technologies, identifying and pro-actively resolving issues, and serving as a key point of contact between the client engagement team and other support teams involved in the development of client tax deliverables. As a manager, you would be working with leadership to run these exciting and impactful initiatives.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $77,900 to $178,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $93,500 to $202,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
