The FP&A team manages Facebook’s entire budget of revenue and expense. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within Facebook and within related industries. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and interaction with business partners as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing Finance organization. - Create strong business partnerships with Global Operations leadership.
- Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
- Manage a budget that supports Global Operations operating needs and sets clearly defined short-term goals and operational plans for the next year.
- Build thoughtful analyses to drive better investment decisions, such as return on operations spend.
- Help define and implement scalable financial processes.
- Provide hands-on analytic support and develop actionable insights and reporting that will influence key decision makers to allocate resources more effectively.
- Make us and our business partners more efficient.
- Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management.
- Helping to implement business/product initiatives appropriately.
- 9+ years of finance-related experience
- BA/BS in Business, Economics, or equivalent
- Experience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysis
- Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Finance & Accounting
- Proven track record in evaluating business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and proposing and implementing solutions
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
- Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Financials, Tableau
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
