FasTraxPOS Hiring for Website Developer at Rock Hill, NY Full Time

FasTrax Solutions is seeking an experienced, energetic, and detail-orientated assistant marketing manager to assist in website development at our Rock Hill, NY location. The right candidate is an artist and innovator at their core who is driven by the need to always enrich the user experience and effectively communicate their original ideas on a digitalized platform.

Incorporating a unique blend of graphic design skills and technical computer skills, the role consists of overseeing the coding of the websites and web applications, and generating fresh, unique, and thought-provoking designs and layouts for our websites, as well as those for our clients. The right candidate will be maintaining the websites’ stability and security, ensuring that any issues with the sites are promptly fixed. They will also be overseeing website maintenance when new features need to be added and making sure old ones are updated smoothly to maintain a strong user experience and business operations. Additionally, the right candidate will be expected to work closely with other members of our team in order to create products that meet predetermined budgets, business visions, and designs.

As our assistant marketing manager, the right candidate will be responsible for:

• Building, designing, and maintaining all websites and software applications and keeping them up-to-date for evolving business needs

• Writing and reviewing code for websites, including HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ensures it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices

• Integrating multimedia content onto the websites

• Performing routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance on an as-needed basis

• Consistently communicating with clients to determine their business needs and design preferences to provide a tailored solution

• Collaborating with other team members concerning the direction of the websites

• Troubleshooting problems with website performance or user experience and implementing security and data protection

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience

• Content and design experience is a huge bonus

• A good working knowledge of UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards

• The ability to write and edit technical documentation

• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics

• Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills

• Exhibits a strong compassion for others as well as a positive energy

• Demonstrates strong time management and communication skills

• Must be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines, as well as have strong organizational skills
