Advertising Specialist

Farm Bureau Financial Services has an opening for a highly-motivated Advertising Specialist to join our dynamic team of marketing professionals. The optimal candidate will work collaboratively with our team to develop and coordinate marketing materials that build awareness, visibility and relevance for our companies, brand and agents/advisors. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic candidate who enjoys detailed work, creating process efficiencies and executing a plan in support of sales goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with the development and coordination of marketing campaigns and materials, creating a consistent brand experience.
• Coordinate the development and review of stationery materials for agents and advisors, as well as home office employees.
• Provide event materials for our agents and advisors to use in their local communities, increasing local engagement and awareness.
• Help facilitate the creation of interior and exterior office signage for agents and advisors.
• Assist with advertising special requests and social media posting on our social media management platform.
• Partner with internal and external teams to develop materials for events, sponsorships and other public relations initiatives.
• Plan and execute our presence at consumer facing events across our 8-state footprint.
• Coordinate legal and compliance approvals for corporate and agent/advisor marketing materials.
• Effectively manage project budgets.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• College degree (advertising, public relations, marketing, communications, journalism) or equivalent plus 1-2 years relevant experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with proven history of meeting performance targets and objectives.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Effective communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and adaptable to new situations.
