Representative Duties:
Lead the organizations exit and stay interview program to enhance employee engagement
Review and refresh the existing program. Partner with the HR team in ensuring employee engagement and avenues to report and share the feedback with staff and leadership
Presents trends to appropriate department leadership, and consults and coach supervisors and leadership on action steps as follow up
Develop a stay interview program that aligns with our Racial Equity Action Plan, organizational values, and the Press Ganey engagement survey
Identify ways for ongoing feedback loop to staff and leadership
2. Manage the leave programs
Evaluate and audit the current leave program and identify opportunities for improvement and reduction of inefficiencies
Seek to create a robust business flow that provides exemplary customer service
Generate monthly leave reports for HR leadership and other stake holders
Serve as the main contact with our leave management administrator and ensure exemplary customer experience
Maintain up to date knowledge of on all state and federal laws and regulations concerning the administration of FMLA, PFMLA, and short and long-term disability
3. Contribute and support in other HR areas
Build trusting relationships with all staff members so that they will come HR and you as a resource and for guidance on emerging issues
Assists in updating and revising policies and procedures, and interprets policies for our customers
Develop and maintain reports on a variety of topics. including turnover, exit and stay data, Leave tracking, Affordable Care Act and workers’ compensation reporting
4. Assists in benefit administration and other HR tasks
Respond to staff benefits-related requests
Resolves high level benefits-related issues
Assists with Open Enrollment and annual year-end benefits fair
Serve as back up to the HR Database & Benefit Manager for payroll changes, and processes
Partners with HR leadership in developing a robust out-of-state workers program and ensures compliance with state and federal laws
5. Human Resources Information System management
Leads the HR team in the ongoing development, design and maintenance of Paylocity, our HRIS
Ensures data integrity, and system optimization
Troubleshoots, analyzes, identifies and corrects high level technical problems and deficiencies
Liaise with Paylocity as our HRIS vendor on system enhancements and trouble shooting.
6. Orientation and onboarding of new staff
Partners with and supports our Organizational Learning & Development Specialist in the development and delivery of the orientation, onboarding program and the creation of the First Year Experience
Develops training curriculum and conducts formal and informal training sessions on a variety of topics
7. Compliance and Analysis
Supports compensation activities including completing salary surveys and building a resource library of compensation surveys
Assists in ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
8. Meet agency participatory expectations
Adheres to all agency and departmental policies and procedures
Participates in quality assessment and improvement activities as requested
Adheres to the highest principles of patient and client confidentiality
Adheres to established safety policies, procedures and precautions; identifies potential or actual unsafe situations in the environment and takes measures to rectify the situation
Attends all required meetings, in-services and professional trainings
Maintains professional competence necessary to perform job responsibilities; maintains and provides agency with records of continuing education activities
Serves on agency committees and in professional organizations when requested
9. Perform related duties as assigned
. Requirements:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree, with PHR or SHRM certification strongly preferred
At least 4 years’ experience in Human Resources
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with employee relations related matters
Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with colleagues, patients, clients and vendors across the spectrum of diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, national origin and immigrant status, religious or spiritual identity, disability (physical, mental, emotional and developmental), veteran status, and/or limited English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory and/or training experience strongly preferred
Experience working with the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Paylocity preferred
Exemplary customer service skills
Strong working knowledge of, and facility with, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to master new computer applications
Strong organization and detail skills necessary
Experience working in an ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse environment preferred
Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals required
