Title: Software Engineering Manager, Enterprise Team

Position Overview:
The mission of the Enterprise Engineering team is to build product features targeted for Enterprise customers. These features include things like SSO, collaboration for groups of users, granular access control, approval workflows.
As the engineering manager for this team, you will use both people skills and technical expertise to grow and guide the team. You will play a key role in attracting and growing talent, creating a healthy, high-performing team, and raising the performance for all Fictiv Engineering.
Our tech stack consists of: Node.js, TypeScript / JavaScript, GraphQL, and React.js. We heavily use AWS and many of its services such as – Postgres RDS, Dynamo, SQS, Lambda, and Kinesis to name a few.

Attract and recruit talented software engineers interested in solving hard technical problems
Lead the team in planning, designing, and delivering improvements to the development experience
Provide technical guidance to the team, making thoughtful, balanced tradeoffs between scalability, stability, maintainability, security, and business needs

You have a track record of leading high-performing teams.
You’ve seen the practices and dynamics of a team that can deliver quality solutions on time and can guide a team to adopt them.
You are an experienced technologist with the ability to dive into technical details.
You have hands-on experience with complex data domains, security practices, CI / CD pipelines, and AWS cloud architecture.
You are passionate about delivering robust code backed by robust tests and automation.
You are a clear, proactive communicator. You provide business context to your team and generate excitement for new tools, frameworks, and practices developed by your team.
