Fidelis Logistics, a leading company in 3PL Pallet Recycling, is seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor to oversee the refurbishment of CHEP pallets.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in supervising, managing, and coaching a production team
• Education: High School Diploma required; a 4-year degree is preferred
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily refurbishment of damaged pallets to ensure efficiency and quality
• Ensure that employees adhere to company standards for safety, security, and productivity
• Conduct interviews, select, and train new employees
• Motivate and develop your team to enhance performance and effectiveness
• Manage work schedules and assignments for shipping and receiving operations
• Oversee the checking of outgoing and incoming freight for accuracy in counts and codes
• Assist in physical inventories and quality audits
• Supervise all repair and inspection activities to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Mechanic to maintain a robust maintenance program
• Prepare and maintain daily production records and reports in a timely and effective manner
• Position is in an environment that includes noise, dust, and exposure to seasonal temperatures. Occasional lifting up to 75lbs is expected in moving, inspecting, and auditing pallets
