As Campaign Developer, you will work as an integral member of the MEC team that develops and delivers these communication campaigns to employers, prospects, and benefit plan participants. The Campaign Developer is responsible for the team’s development, maintenance, and deployment of targeted recipient lists in partnership with a wide range of internal message sponsors, including marketing and product owners. This individual is responsible for working with partners to understand their objectives and customer messaging requirements, develop contact lists in SQL Server, Oracle, and Unica Campaign platforms, and ensure the timely, flawless delivery of marketing, service, and regulatory communications to WI customers.
Understand communication targeting requirements and deliver target populations to business sponsors
Work with large and varied data sets, from multiple data sources, to conduct analysis on current customer activity and generate concise reporting, contact lists, and meaningful insights
Design, develop and execute Stored procedures, ETL routines, maintenance scripts in SQL Server
Build complex targeting rules in SQL Server, Unica Campaign, and/or Salesforce Journey Builder
Develop scalable, repeatable processes for building target populations
Audit and perform quality assurance on communication campaigns to ensure flawless delivery, including peer and team design reviews
Support and monitor campaigns in production, troubleshoot technical issues, and make modifications as necessary to ensure communication accuracy
Escalate issues related to scope, schedule, and quality
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Proficient in Oracle and SQL Server databases
Experience with ETL scripts and database maintenance routines
Advanced SQL programming skills to perform complicated data processing tasks, such as stored procedures
Experience in managing extensive quality assurance processes prior to providing reports/data to internal customers
Attention to detail (emphasis on quality a must)
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take on responsibility and work well under tight project deadlines
Dependable interpersonal skills and active listening skills to ensure understanding of, and alignment with, customer objectives
Ability to interact with a variety of staff across functions and levels
Campaign management experience (preferably Unica Campaign and/or Salesforce Journey Builder)
The Team
We deliver customer messaging for the Communications & Education organization, which is within the operations team in Fidelity’s Workplace Investing (WI) business unit. This team provides targeting, distribution, and support services for over 70% of the communications generated by WI, including annual volumes approaching 600 million emails, 40 million direct mail pieces, and 1 million leads for outbound calls. We collaborate with internal message sponsors and delivery teams to ensure efficient, accurate, timely delivery of marketing, service, and regulatory communications that drive high-quality customer experiences across multiple WI product lines.

$64,000 – $100,000
This position is eligible for incentive compensation or an annual bonus opportunity.
