Looking for an experienced Toyota and Lexus automotive technician to join our team at First Class H.A.L.T. at our Anderson, South Carolina location. We are an independent automotive repair shop located in the Upstate specializing in H*onda, Acura, Lexus, and T*oyota automotive makes. Toyota and Lexus experience and industry knowledge is preferred. Diagnostics background is a plus. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to efficiently working on routine and preventative maintenance services, diagnosing any mechanical issues, servicing brakes, tires, alignments, suspensions, and any other repairs for our customers.
Automotive Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Check vehicles to ensure compliance with state inspection requirements
- Perform routine automotive maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Identify pre-existing and potential vehicle malfunctions
- Work with manufacturers to order inventory
- Coordinate with insurance companies to complete sponsored repairs
- Inform customers about promotional products and services
- Test vehicle parts prior to installation/repair
- Keep accurate records of completed and outstanding jobs
- Consistently meet deadlines for completed work
Automotive Technician Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Vocational or postsecondary program completion preferred
- ASE Certification preferred, but not required
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a related role
- Extensive experience with various hand tools preferred
