Currently, we are recruiting for an elite Embedded Developer that will partner with one of the country’s best Grid Solutions companies. This is a great opportunity that directly gets you involved in technology that affects our energy systems!
Shift: Standard office hours of 8am to 5pm. Some OT may be necessary
Pay: $100,000 and up. We are open to discussing!
Work type: Can be fully remote, but we would like you to be in-person for the kickoff. Candidates that are not local to Rochester need not to worry! We will take care of the expense for bringing you in person for the kickoff.
Job Summary:
Work with clients and engineering teams on early stages of development for a next gen communications product. Determine requirements, design architecture, and run tests to ensure functionality.
To ensure success in the role, candidates should have a good understanding of the following:
- Writing software code for embedded systems
- Strong knowledge of hardware architecture
- RTOS embedded development experience (FreeRTOS to be more specific)
- LWIP Networking experience would be desirable
- Must have familiarity with low power-low resource (limited ram and flash) designs. We are in the early stages of development so your experience with these constraints will be key.
