Operations Supervisor I/II – Juneau Regional Branch
Salary: $27.50/hour or $30.43/hour + DOE + 7.5% area differential

GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY
Directs the primary function of at least one unit in the Deposit Section of a small to medium size branch by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises employees in at least one unit of the branch’s Deposit Section. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making recommendations regarding the hiring and terminating of employees.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Ops Sup I Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance and two years bank operations/deposit experience; or four years related bank operations/deposit experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. Six months in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Preferred: Sales experience.
Ops Sup II Minimum: Bachelor’s in business, accounting, or finance and three years progressively responsible bank operations/deposit experience; or five years progressively responsible bank operations/deposit experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience. One-year supervisory experience.
Preferred: Sales experience.
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Word processing and spreadsheet software experience required. The ability to handle highly confidential information, frequent deadlines, and time constraints required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write s, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING SKILLS:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
