Duties/Responsibilities:
Payroll processing for one or more divisions of ADEC, that will require processing multi-state taxes, overtime, W-4, 1095-C filing, and PTO accrual. Running reports, verifying data, process and submit, as well as recordkeeping.
Review, track, and document compliance requirements and schedule mandatory training for staff. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
Recruiting assistance – Identify qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Update HRIS system.
Review and update job posts, LinkedIn outreach, college recruiting, audit job descriptions, employee file maintenance, learn and utilize ADP tools & best practices.
Assist with processing background checks, drug screening and physicals, and professional reference verifications. Collect required acknowledgements and documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices while assisting in reviewing policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management system (ADP Workforce Now).
Education and Experience:
High School required, Human Resources Management degree or certificate desired.
ADP Workforce Now experience
Prior payroll processing experience
3+ years’ experience in a human resource generalist, payroll specialist or recruiter role preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee may spend extended periods of time sitting in front of a computer or laptop. The employee is required have finger dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
