This position independently prepares and monitors the department payroll for all employees. Paying employees correctly and timely will allow them to concentrate on collecting revenue efficiently. If selected, you can expect the follow essential functions:
This position will also back up the Payroll Supervisor functions in their absence, requiring full knowledge of applicable rules, laws, policy and procedures relating to compensation, leave and other employee benefits.
Three (3) years of professional accounting, budget or auditing experience and 12 semester or 18 quarter hours of college-level accounting credits
Two (2) years experience as a Fiscal Analyst 2 and 12 semester or 18 quarter hours of college-level accounting credits
At least 12 months of experience using the Human Resource Management System (HRMS).
