As a Software Developer, you will follow the SDLC processes established by Fiserv and will be responsible for completing assigned tasks such as requirements review and discovery, technical design, and coding. You will be working on various projects including security, government regulatory and compliances. You will be working in a team environment spanning different time zones. You will be part of a Fortune 500 company; but will also have the benefit of working on a small team. You will be asked to provide new development work while also maintaining and troubleshooting previously released products. You will gain technical, troubleshooting, leadership and client service experience as a member of a team that builds financial services applications.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration
BA or BS degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent discipline
0-4 years of programming/software development experience
Independent with good problem-solving skills
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Waterfall and Agile methodology
Write understandable technical design documentation for new functionality
Proficient with C# and experience with Visual Studio
Some experience with Java and C is desirable
Understands quality standards and provide support through the build and deployment.
Understands Windows and Linux/AIX operating systems and how software interacts with them.
Experience or familiarity with security protocols and best practices
Ability to troubleshoot production issues.
Have a desire to learn and embrace new languages and technologies and show some commitment in learning them.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with shell scripting
Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server
