Overview:
FleishmanHillard, a global integrated communications agency, is looking for an Account Executive to join our Technology Practice in Texas. This position will work with some of our largest clients in B2B technology and telecom to conduct thought leadership, develop content and create storytelling opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities to execute integrated communications programs that embrace all areas of communications for technology clients, with an emphasis on writing/content development, storymining for media narratives, and thought leadership/executive visibility opportunities.
- Review/assess industry trends to identify opportunities to inject FH’s clients into current news cycles; drive story idea development, work closely with media teams to shape and control communications that are in line with overall account objectives.
- Provide proactive client counsel, insights, and creative recommendations to meet client goals.
- Write and edit pitches, plans, memos, research, written content, media materials, website and social media content, client correspondence, and collateral.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a communications-focused role with an emphasis on communications and public relations work for technology clients or B2B. Agency experience is strongly preferred.
- Excellent writing capabilities and successful track record with B2B technology reporters. Proven success working with trade and national business media, and a demonstrated hands-on media approach is required.
- Ability to support and execute communications plans through creative tactics and a variety of communication channels.
- Understanding of integrated communications and content distribution across media platforms.
- Multitasker, self-starter, proactive, problem solver, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
