As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role, joining a team dedicated to defining and innovating the product and experiences used by professional pilots and pilot employers. You are responsible for uncovering insights, building a strong opinion, setting a high quality vision, and articulating your vision through impressive designs and compelling experiences. You will play a critical role in how Flight Schedule Pro realizes that vision; to do this, you’ll need to think visually – using techniques like experience maps and sketching to communicate design concepts. You’ll use your deep knowledge of the UX process (research, conceptual design, prototyping, testing), in collaboration with other team members, to iterate multiple solutions and deliver pixel perfect designs.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead design strategy, vision, and concepting for key initiatives that will shape the future of our pilots and employers offerings
Advocate for customer needs and ensure that our product design delivers meaningful customer value
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers
Lead design activities like problem definition, storytelling, journey mapping, prototyping, design review, and user testing
Present design work and regularly engage with cross-functional partners for feedback
Deliver high-quality and innovative work on time
Collaborate with other designers to set and maintain a high bar for design quality and impact at Flight Schedule Pro

Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years of user-centered design, with experience working on both web and native mobile applications. Candidates must be fluent with Apple Human Interface Guidelines
Genuine empathy for people
Self-starter with experience working in innovative, fast-paced environment where transparency and open communication are highly valued
Ability to communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and design details both verbally and visually
Experience with and an effective advocate for user-centered design methods
Expertise across all facets of human-centered design and user experience, spanning design systems, UX strategy, experience/interaction design, user research, prototyping, visual design, and user adoption
Experience shipping new-to-market products with demonstrated ability to balance speed, quality, and iteration
Strong working knowledge of Figma and high fidelity prototyping tools
BA/BS degree in User Experience, Human Factors, Computer Science, Graphic Design or related degree, or equivalent work experience
Strong passion for or experience in the aviation industry is desirable
