FloMed Infusion Services LLC Hiring for Medical Billing Specialist Job at Delray Beach, FL Full Time

Rapidly expanding South Florida Infusion Center with multiple locations is looking for a strong, full-time team member to fill our billing and collections position. This person MUST have experience with EMR and billing systems. Must be proficient in ICD-10, ICD-9, and CPT coding. Additional skills required include expertise in following up on outstanding A/R of all payers, self-pay, and the resolution of denials. This position is responsible for handling all correspondence related to an insurance or patient account, contacting insurance carriers, patients, and other facilities as needed to get maximum payment on accounts, and identifying issues or changes to achieve company profitability. Responsible for working with EDI transactions and ERA files, including reconciling carrier submissions, edits, and rejection reports.

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for:

Verifying new patient and payer data

Validating the service provided is documented correctly and submitting claims on a daily basis

Managing all copay assistance and grant programs for patient accounts

Entering all claims into QuickBooks on a daily basis

Posting all remittances into billing software and QuickBooks on a daily basis

Continuously looking for errors in the billing process and recommendations on solving them

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per hour
