The Host is the first impression for our guests, setting the mood for our guests’ experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors with a friendly welcome and extend a warm farewell upon each departure.
• Answer phones and take reservations, call guests to confirm reservations.
• Manage the daily reservations & delegate service through use of the Tock reservation system.
• Check phone messages and emails on the front desk tablet.
• Escort guests to their table, communicating with correct servers.
• Communicate with management, Chef, and staff regarding special requests; dietary needs, seating, server etc.
• Maintain notes in Tock regarding guest’s preferences, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
• Keep the front desk clean and neat.
• Organize and maintain menus; ensure menus are clean.
• Engage on Paylocity, the company’s human resources platform.
• Monitor restrooms throughout the shift, ensuring cleanliness and all supplies are stocked every half hour.
• Sell gift cards and to-go food.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu so you can answer questions with guests.
• Restock business cards and marketing collateral kept at the front desk – let management know when materials run low.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation around the front desk and other spaces in compliance with Covid-19 guidelines.
• Host employees have the potential to earn up to $30.00/ hour + when including tips and service fees.
