In this position…
The primary responsibility of the Ford & Lincoln Protect Marketing Strategy Manager is to own all marketing, advertising, and media planning activities and create subscription products that align with the company’s goals and objectives, all while driving sales and revenue for the overall Ford Enterprise, FCSD, and Ford & Lincoln Protect. The Marketing Strategy Manager must develop and maintain marketing strategies that meet organizational objectives, as well as evaluate products, programs and the competitive landscape in the post-vehicle sales channel.
What you’ll do…
Develop the Ford & Lincoln Protect marketing and direct mail strategy to increase vehicle service contract sales in the post-vehicle sales channel.
Strengthen Ford & Lincoln’s Protect Subscription-based sales strategy by aligning the current eCommerce direct-to-consumer experience with our dealer partners.
Develop subscription product offerings to maximize contract sales opportunities outside of the traditional F&I sales experience.
Partner and develop strategies with the Ford Pro, Ford Blue, Model e, and Integrated Services stakeholders on Ford & Lincoln Protect subscription products
Grow US and Canada Ford & Lincoln Protect B2C subscription contract sales.
Provide guidance to the Ford Protect Program Manager in optimizing the Omni-Channel strategy (direct mail, email, social media, Ford apps, etc.) to increase sales conversion rate. Ensuring customers are receiving the right message at the right time to drive sales.
Lead relationship with VMLY&R advertising partner, developing B2C media campaigns to grow vehicle service contract business through loyal and non-loyal Ford & Lincoln Protect dealers; develop engaging consumer marketing campaigns to re-engage consumers in the auto shopping mindset with targeted messaging.
Collaborate with the FCSD Marketing Team on the implementation of the 2024 Ford Protect media planning and positioning designed to build Ford & Lincoln Protect brand awareness in an aggressive and competitive digital market.
Develop the strategic marketing position for the US Ford and Lincoln Protect websites, including Owner sites, Ford Protect eCommerce site, Consumer Connection Plus, Tier 3 dealer websites, and online advertising landing pages designed to standardize Ford & Lincoln Protect messaging.
Identify opportunities to reduce waste and drive process improvements in the Ford & Lincoln Protect team.
Provide support to the Ford & Lincoln Protect Operations, Product, and Sales teams on additional profit & revenue opportunities.
Pursue ongoing development of the Ford & Lincoln Protect Program Manager business acumen and execution.
Sustain or improve all department Pulse (or other employee satisfaction measurement) scores.
Provide Operating Business Plan standard reporting monthly.
You’ll have…
Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Business.
5+ years of experience in leading a team
3+ years with subscription Extended Service contract sales specifically in the automotive industry.
Deep knowledge and understanding of dealership operations, specifically F&I selling processes.
In-depth understanding of marketing, strategy, strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent business communication skills, including strong writing competency analytical skills and executive-level presentation skills.
