Position Summary
A key member of the Advancement Services team in Fordham’s Office of Development and
University Relations (DAUR), the Advancement Services Administrator (Records) coordinates the day-to-day operations of data intake and
record maintenance, while also playing a primary role in gift processing activities. The Administrator coordinates data intake from a
variety of platforms, traffics the accurate and timely utilization of this information in DAUR’s CRM system of record, and ensures the
standardization, completeness, and accuracy of records related to a wide variety of University constituents. The Administrator engages with
numerous stakeholders, including fundraisers, alumni relations officers, and other offices of the University, as well as with constituents
themselves, to gather information and to prioritize and effect individual and large-scale data updates. Working with the Executive Director
of Advancement Services and the Advancement Services Administrator (Gift Accounting), the Administrator coordinates work for the entirety of
the Advancement Services team, ensures the integrity of data, and incorporates and enforces best practices for data security and financial
processing in the unit’s operations. Extensive experience in CRM and the utilization of technology to create greater efficiency,
enhance workflows and productivity, and creatively resolve data challenges is vital to this role. This position reports to the Executive
Director of Advancement Services.
