Position Summary
This role is an opportunity for an energetic leader to work with a wide group of stakeholders throughout the University
community and have a real impact on the success of Fordham. The successful candidate will lead the hiring of a junior account specialist who
will report to them. Both will be core members of the Client Service team in University Marketing and Communications (UMC), Fordham’s
award winning centralized marketing department.
Together and with the support of UMC, the Director and Junior account specialist will
respond to the marketing needs of the Office of Undergraduate Admission, our undergraduate liberal arts colleges, the School for Continuing
and Professional Studies, and the Office of Alumni Relations. They will also work with the in-house marketing team at Gabelli School of
Business when needed.
Some of the senior clients the person in this role will engage with are the Vice President for Enrollment and
Financial Services, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions, the deans of our undergraduate colleges, the AVP for Alumni Relations, the Director of
Marketing for Gabelli School of Business, and others.
Projects managed will include, but are not limited to webpages, viewbooks,
brochures, collateral, social media, video, content marketing, ads, internal marketing and other strategic communications materials as
required.
The Director of Marketing for Undergraduate Enrollment and Alumni reports to the Director of Client Services, and works
closely with additional UMC staff such as the Senior Director of Online Communications, Director of Creative Services, editorial staff, and
others.
The work is high volume, and fast paced. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and professional during
periods of high-volume activities. Additionally, candidates must be able to work effectively from home or on the Lincoln Center campus in
Manhattan.
