Job Summary : Service Technician is responsible for performing mixed level vehicle repairs and maintenance services according to Infiniti factory standards and processes. Work in clean, Air Conditioned shop with latest technology and factory training.

Automotive Technician Principal Responsibilities :

• Performs authorized services as outlined on repair order within specified time frame according to proper factory repair procedures and dealer policies.
• Reviews service write up to verify required work.
• Determines if vehicle requires any other work by performing Multi-Point Inspection and immediately advises details to Service Advisor
• Secures needed parts from the Parts Department
• Strives to exceed customer expectations for repair.
• Ensures service repair notes/records are clear and well documented.
• Assists Service Advisors as needed in communicating with customers about vehicle repairs.
• Attend factory training classes to stay current with new vehicle systems; attend technical training classes, keep up to date on industry developments/information, and seek professional certifications.
• Comply with federal (ie, OSHA), state, and local regulations governing safety and hazardous waste disposal.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Use shop tools with care, and take time to keep them organized, clean and properly maintained.

Education and Experience (Knowledge):

• Nissan or Infiniti experience preferred but not required
• ASE Certification preferred
• Previous Automotive Service technician experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required

Work Environment :

• Technician must have some personal tools, we provide tool boxes
• Technician must be able to operate shop equipment and power tools.
• Technician will be exposed to noise, dust, wide temperature variances (cold to hot) and will be required to lift heavy parts and equipment up to 40lbs
• Must pass background check

Pay: $30,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
