Job Description

Fortune Brands Innovations is looking for a creative, driven and agile communications professional who can help create and amplify important Human Resources and company messages. As Manager, Communications you ll play a leading role in shaping and delivering strategic HR communications in partnership with a broader communications team and a dynamic Human Resources organization. RESPONSIBLIITIES:

What you will be doing

• Strategic content & channel management as a Human Resources communications partner.
• Serves as the coordinator for HR transformation, organizational and key initiative communication needs.
• Build and execute communications plans; support and manage content strategy; organize and deploy HR content in collaboration with stakeholders and the communications team utilizing a holistic view of broader communications activities and change management.
• Support HR content creation such as routine org announcements, daily communication needs, and key project deliverables.
• Leverage HR content to strategically manage and feed the company s various communications channels: intranet, LinkedIn, Twitter and
• Identifies connections for multiple workstreams and supports the team in content creation, resource tools and best practices/vehicles to communicate.
• Handles day-to-day communications execution and supports the broader communications team, such as preparing and sending company emails and distribution list management.
• Drafts and posts content for the associate intranet, including helping keep HR documents updated; posting HR events; creating and sending newsletters.
• Partners on culture and employee value proposition work as assigned.
• Supports executive presence and recruitment marketing on social media as part of our engagement and recruiting strategy.
• Helps manage digital assets, including people and community photography, executive photos, setting up photo shoots.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or similar and relevant major.
• 5-7 years of corporate communications and/or agency experience required. Communications experience with Human Resources preferred.
• Ability to create communication project plans
• Familiarity with change management planning and execution of change communications
• Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience writing for and deploying across corporate channels.
• Adept at collaborating with internal and external partners; experience in building relationships with key stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with writing and posting on corporate intranets/mobile apps.
• Detail oriented, proactive, organized and action oriented
• Excellent project management and execution skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience developing and creating content for HR communications preferred
• Agile, adaptable, creative and resourceful
• Willingness to learn required technical systems
• Graphic design and basic video editing skills a plus
• Readily builds trust and rapport with others, fostering a comfortable and effective workplace
• Skilled navigation of complex organizational structures and dynamics
