Summary
Forum Works is seeking an HR & Accounting specialist. This full-time position responsible to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. As well manage employee relations, payroll, and compliance issues to help ensure that the organization runs smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
o Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
o Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day.
o Enter data, maintain records, reports, and financial statements
o Perform month end, quarterly and yearly reconciliations
o Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
o Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
o Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
o Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
o Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
o Honesty, integrity, and a passion for excellence
o Handles pressure, sets standards, and promotes high morale
o Proven bookkeeping experience
o Ability to work independently
o Proficient in QuickBooks Pro
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Effective organizational skills
o Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
o Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
o Proficiency in English and in MS Office
o Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
o Vendor relationship management
o High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
o Human resources: 2 year (Preferred)
o Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
Working conditions:
The physical conditions you work under will include typical office environments. Forum’s set work week is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a half-hour for lunch. In addition to set hours, additional evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines and Company objectives.
