Foss Performance Materials LLC, is seeking candidates for a Junior-level HR Generalist to support Foss Performance Materials. This position is based in Hampton, NH.

This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide a high level of customer service to assist the HR team and company’s management in HR matters.
• Ensure that utmost confidentiality is maintained for all sensitive HR information.
• Ensure all employee information in the HR information system is accurate and up-to-date.
• Manage new hire process including all pre-employment testing.
• Assist with employee relations.
• Assist with termination process involving preparation of separation paperwork, and exit interviews.
• Build strong relationships with employees and management.
• Coordinates employment job offers, background checks, and pre-employment drug screens; maintains communication with potential hire and hiring manager throughout the process.
• Coordinates and conducts onboarding for new hires to include (but not limited to) benefits enrollment, sending required new hire emails, and tracking initial training.
• Enters and maintains HRIS and other database records, including (but not limited to) information for new hires, terminations, and other status changes.
• Assists with the development, implementation, and administration of human resources policies and procedures.
• Assists with various internal and external audits throughout the year.
• Supports all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
• Assists the HR Team as needed with other day-to-day tasks and special projects as assigned.

Required Experience:

• One year or more of experience in Human Resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow up on tasks given.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Management preferred.
• Proficiency with recruiting and/or human resources tools such as Paylocity.

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
