Nikola Valenti is a start-up but fast-growing jewelry subscription company. We are currently looking for a team member to help us build, maintain, and debug the technical front-end and/or back-end code that informs our site functionality.
Responsibilities will include:
- Compose code to enable site functions, and create or add verbal or visual content into the code structure.
- Test website functions and propose solutions for troubleshooting websites
- Working alongside our Web designer to convert designs made in AdobeXD and/or Figma into coded design deployment packages for the website.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluency with the programming languages including but not limited to PHP, HTML5, CSS, Javascript
- Familiarity with AdobeXD and Figma
- Knowledge of open source technologies like PHP, MySql, Git, Twig Template Engine, Slim Framework, Bootstrap, Apache, CentOS
- Understanding of the mobile space, including specific design requirements, limitations of screen sizes, touch-based capabilities, bandwidth concerns, etc.
- Ability to take a project from concept to launch
- Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with telecommunication methods (email, phone, video)
