Francesco’s Italian American Bistro Hiring for Server Job at Saint Louis, MI Full Time

Serve food and drinks to customers by entering information into our POS system. Explain and answer food or menu questions to guests. Answer the phone, seat the customers & process take out orders.

Bartending experience is preferable but not required. Servers also prepare beer and cocktails for customers they are serving.

Pay advertised here is the estimated average amount for beginner servers weekly INCLUDING tips. We pay $4.00 per hour but we DO NOT SHARE OR POOL OUR TIPS. WE DO NOT TIP OUT THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT. We ONLY tip out Hosts 3-4 nights per week. Tips amounts are not guaranteed daily or weekly so it is the servers who excel that will make unlimited amounts of tips. Experienced servers working 4-5 shifts per week, including weekend nights, will make closer to $700-$1,000 per week in tips.

Servers are trained for 2 weeks with managers making minimum wage hourly during training times. You are expected to learn the POS system and menu within the 2 week time period to then be able to take some tables on your own after the training period.
