The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for designing, planning and implementing HR programs and policies that drive productivity and engagement in our medical device manufacturing groups in Jeffersonville, Indiana and Minnetonka, MN. This position reports to the Vice President/General Manager and is a member of the Leadership Team.
What You Will Be Doing:
· Provide leadership, direction & expertise for the full scope of the HR function.
· Partner with senior management team to ensure execution of HR initiatives are aligned with business priorities.
· Develop, define, and implement solutions that address the talent needs of the business. Manage the partnership with Talent Acquisition, including role specification and profile requirements.
· Address employee relations issues, resolve conflicts and implement policy.
· Facility and manage all company programs including: benefit open enrollment, annual compliance training, ad hoc programs, performance management process including goal setting, feedback/coaching, development and succession planning.
· Provide management coaching and trainings when needed to front line managers on topics from performance management and critical conversations to delivering feedback and developing employees and teams.
· Influence and drive organizational change strategies in support of the business plans and continuously take the “pulse” of the organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
What You Bring Along:
· Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in Human Resources
· Capable of building strong relationships and rapport with leadership team, HR colleagues, and employees on our manufacturing floor.
· Strong business acumen. Recognizes and enjoys the business side of business. Has knowledge about the organization’s finances and operations and how talent managements affects each.
· Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvements; demonstrated experience driving process improvements and specific skills in Kaizen methodologies preferred.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and lead multiple activities, projects and priorities.
· Positive “can do” attitude and has a passion for working with and developing employees at all levels.
· Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills.
· Knowledge of ADP payroll processing and Workday a plus.
