High school diploma or G.E.D.
AA preferred or equivalent of work experience.
Minimum three (3) years of full-time experience paralleling the major duties of this position.
Working knowledge of HR field.
Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively handle multiple complex tasks in a highly pressured and constantly changing environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret regulations.
Proficient in Windows based software (i.e.: Word, Excel, Publisher, Internet Explorer, etc.) and an ability to learn and effectively use other software applications within agency designated timeframe.
Possess the desire, ability and temperament to effectively work with peers, employees, consumers and outside entities in a positive and professional manner.
