Business Development Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Fusion BPO Services is looking for a passionate experienced CALL CENTER professional and enterprising Telecommunications Business Development Manager. This position (BDM) is a pre-sales communication position with career growth opportunity into a direct sales role. This position is focused on educating our prospective clients for Fusion across the North America and Latin America geographies and generating qualified sales leads for the Senior Sales team to close.

Key Responsibilities:
· Acquire in depth knowledge of Fusion’s full range of services and convey the benefits of our services to potential clients, adhering to company targets, messaging and positioning specifically for the Telecommunications market
· This position will primarily support the Telecommunications division during the selling season then the commercial division during the off season
· Make outbound calls from lists to targeted healthcare and commercial companies
· Identify who the most appropriate decision maker is in the company which is usually a Director, VP or C-Level executive
· Identify the prospects potential outsourcing call center needs
· Using outbound email and calls, gain agreement from the prospect for a call back from our sales department
· Document each call made in the company contact management system
· On calls where the decision maker cannot be reached, update the database with gathered including the decision maker names, titles, direct dial numbers, email address and any company/competitive information
· Set appointments with our sales team prior to attending industry trade shows
· Re-qualifying leads from trade shows, events, mailers, other activities
· Gather referrals from non-qualified prospects
· Provide suggestions for improving the lead generation process through script changes, list segment enhancements, offers, etc.
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Ameridial management team
· Reports to Sr. Director of Sales/VP Sales

Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a call center (operations and client services experience is a plus)
· The following sales experience is preferred but not required as we will provide training and tools needed to be successful
o Inside sales experience in a business-to-business environment
o Experience in cold calling, sales prospecting and appointment setting
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and a familiarity with PowerPoint
· AA degree or equivalent experience preferred
· Previous experience in the call center/BPO industry would be highly appreciated
