Fusion Worldwide Hiring for Operations Manager Job at Boston, MA Full Time

Position Summary: Fusion Worldwide is hiring an Operations Manager to act as a key operational leader reporting to the COO at our Boston headquarters. This individual will wear many hats and manage everything related to operations and administration by acting as the key liaison between our sales/purchasing and logistics/operations departments. This position is essential to Fusion Worldwide’s growth as our business continues to expand globally.

What you can do for us:

• Support overall administration, operations and logistics teams and work with the COO to develop action plans, goals and operational programs to improve efficiency and service level.
• Handle daily operations of the administrative and operations teams and initiate methods to effectively support the sales/purchasing teams so they can focus on revenue generation, including setting up new customers.
• Provided operational support for both Boston office and Haverhill warehouse (logistics and quality) by putting together appropriate teams.
• Develop programs to cross train personnel and identify areas of opportunity for employee training and development. Conduct periodic reviews of all operations personnel.
• Develop communication programs allowing for quicker, clearer, and cleaner communications between various stakeholders globally.
• Lead certification efforts for standards and programs to support ongoing company initiatives.
• Work globally to improve operational efficiency and introduce technology to improve operations across all areas as well as handle issues as they arise.
• Develop initiatives to improve communication flow, response time on customer documentation requests, and organization of information to better support company operations.

Who we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of operations experience
• Strong knowledge of logistics, administration and sales support operations
• Strong communication skills, adaptable and task-oriented
• Strong desire to be involved many different areas of the company and solve operational inefficiencies
• Experience within a high-volume distribution company a plus
• A Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
