We are looking for a * Junior Software Developer who: *
- Manage upgrades to existing applications as well as designing, architecting, and debugging new applications for our platform and other web technologies.
- Understanding business processes by customizing and configuring systems accordingly to client’s specifications.
- Developing application software using approved programming languages.
- Implementing approved changes to application software to maintain current standards, correct problems, modify or enhance application functions.
- Participating in the design and development of application software.
- Testing application software to assure accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness to achieve desired results.
- Analyzing reasons for failures and reviews assigned programs and/or procedures, as necessary.
- Collaborates with project leaders and the implementation team to ensure understanding of the set-up requirements, business-aligned objectives, and obtains a complete understanding of the current business processes.
- Stays up to date on the technologies that the company uses and sells, and on the current trends of the different industries to which it provides services.
Job requirements…
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in software development.
- Knowledge in SQL, C#, Visual Basics, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge in .NET and/or GRAILS Framework.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Projects, preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Excellent communications skills.
- Customer services skills.
- Time management skills.
- Problem solving ability.
